Psychological Assessment

Understanding yourself can be challenging, especially when everyday difficulties start to feel overwhelming. Psychological assessments can provide clarity, helping identify whether challenges with attention, focus, social interaction, or behaviour are related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or other factors.

Assessments are a structured process that gather information from multiple sources to create a complete picture. This usually includes interviews with the individual and, where relevant, parents or caregivers, questionnaires, observations, and standardised testing. The goal is to understand strengths, challenges, and patterns of behaviour, so that recommendations can be tailored to your unique needs.

Once the assessment is complete, a feedback session is provided. During this session, results are explained in a clear and supportive way. You will receive a diagnostic impression and practical recommendations for support, strategies, or interventions. The feedback session also provides space to ask questions and discuss next steps.

Psychological assessment can help with understanding challenges, accessing support, and planning interventions at home, school, or work. It provides clarity, validation, and practical guidance so that you or your child can thrive.
